Bring your own device bringing some new opportunities, challenges

A new trend is emerging within IT departments - employees are beginning to opt for bringing their own devices, including mobile phones and PCs, into the workplace.

This presents new opportunities for hardware makers such as Apple and other brands that traditionally did not have a huge presence in the enterprise space. For employers this means new solutions are required to compensate employees and also manage potentially untrusted hardware.

We think this will be a developing trend.
