Sandfield Information Systems, Sandfield Associates Limited, Microsoft Software Development

Software Design and Development

Since 1988 Sandfield has been designing and developing high quality business information systems, from core freight management systems managing millions of transactions a year, to online booking systems for the travel industry, to highly effective mobile applications for our customers on the road.

Our development approach, using Microsoft's .Net technology, follows the Agile Methodology. A process that brings precision and economy to projects, with a logical staged approach to deliverables.

The Agile Methodology Values:

  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working systems over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • The ability to respond to change

That's not to say we don't work to clearly defined goals - we do. All significant work is carefully strategised, managed and reviewed through appropriately detailed project plans. Plans that are in turn driven through frequent, iterative stages and reviews.

Sandfield clients have our assurance that we will not allow a project to fail. From the initial development stages right through to implementation, we play a proactive, strategic role - co-driving the process toward a common vision. Then, once a system is fully operational, we support and stand behind it - evolving and tailoring it to meet new challenges as the organisation changes and grows.

At Sandfield, we work to the highest possible standards. Standards that are agreed upon prior to commencing a project, and adhered to through to completion. We embrace our responsibility to be aware of new technologies and to adapt them to serve our clients' requirements. The end result? In a time of unprecedented change, some of Sandfield's systems have now reached 10 years old, yet they continue to serve their purpose because of the flexibility and foresight that went into their design.

" Sandfield's team is extremely good at what they do in terms of grasping the business issue and coming up with ideas."
