A cost effective, simple to use, travel booking engine

On Holiday is a web based travel booking system which enables:

• Travel wholesalers to provide an efficient and effective service to their customers.
• Retail travel agents to make bookings directly into the system.
• Tourism operators to provide bookings and reservations for their offerings directly to the consumer.

The system is based on four core components:

Product Database

Records brochure information and pricing for Air fares, Hotels, Transfers, Rental Cars, and Sightseeing. It includes cancellation policies, payment terms, specific "Sell" messages and hotel allotments. The database allows the wholesaler to model available product options such as room type, meal plans, transfer modes, sightseeing options and rental car options.

Pricing Engine

Enables wholesalers to provide multi-hotel, multi-room pricing; it captures "specials" and finds the best price for transfers and rentals. Multiple deals and rates can be entered, even for the same period, from different suppliers. The system automatically generates the best deals that are valid for the stay dates.

Booking and Quote Manager

Enables wholesalers to pull together a quote, including single or multiple options. A retailer can access quotes via a retail logon, and quotes can be published on a retail-branded PDF. Itineraries can be built, including flights which are accessed from airline ticketing systems (CRS), and can be packaged into an "all-up" price.

On Account

Full integration to Sandfield's accounting system, including automatic transfer of bookings into designated accounts and locking of documents until payment received.

On Holiday can directly integrated into suppliers systems, using real-time information to ensure accuracy and timeliness of service.
